Wisconsin Waterfowl & Turkey Hunting

Ridge and River Running Outfitters, LLC was established in 2009. We offer world class Wisconsin waterfowl hunts and eastern turkey hunts in western and south-central Wisconsin. Our Mississippi River Duck Hunts are based near the Ferryville, Wisconsin area. We are 1 of 8 commercial waterfowlers who specialize in big water duck hunts on the Mississippi River; pools 4-14 of the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife Refuge. We specialize in guided Wisconsin duck hunts on Pool 9 of the Mississippi River. We focus on Canvasbacks hunting “The King of Ducks” when they arrive. Most of our Mississippi River hunts are on Pool 9 located in Crawford County Wisconsin which is roughly 30 miles south of LaCrosse Wisconsin and 30 miles north of Prairie du Chien Wisconsin. Our field and small water Wisconsin waterfowl hunts are based out of the Reedsburg and Portage Wisconsin area, but we cover numerous south-central Wisconsin counties. Our turkey hunts are based out of Sauk and Columbia counties, specifically near the Reedsburg area. Reedsburg is located roughly 55 miles north of Madison Wisconsin. Portage is located roughly 45 miles north of Madison Wisconsin.

Your Wisconsin Hunting Guide: Jeremy Dersham, owner-operator, has been providing outdoor adventures in the state of Wisconsin since the early 1990s. His first appearance in the woods and waters took place as a toddler on the ridges and rivers of south-central Wisconsin. He is a dedicated conservationist who lives to work managing lands and waters for the betterment of wildlife. He has been a committee member for a local Ducks Unlimited chapter. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, gaining his Bachelor of Arts in middle/secondary education and a social science comprehensive. He is a licensed Captain (OUPV/Six-pack) through the USCG.  He has guided hundreds of outdoorsmen and women on deer, turkey, waterfowl, and fishing adventures. He has been featured in outdoor publications and videos including Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, Realtree, Delta Waterfowl, ScoutLook, Kent Cartridge, Alps Outdoorz, Shot of the Week, Cabela’s Spring Thunder, and NWTF Turkey Call. He has been a judge for the Wisconsin state turkey calling contests along with different regional waterfowl calling contests throughout the state. He lives for his family and the outdoor lifestyle. “The more dirt under my fingernails, the better I feel.”
